Notebook, Juiceglass, Pear
This is my kitchen table. It is central control. It often has my notebook computer on it. The speakers were attached because Alexandra and I watched "Catch Me if You Can" during dinner. The pear was meant for the salad that I never ate. The flowers in the vase were given to my daughter from her boyfriend, Brodie. The glass is just that. I used my view finder and did a quick sketch. Again, I used the walnut oil which I truly love and this is the result. It looks like home to me.

This painting makes me want to go to your house and just sit and visit for a while. There is something so comfortable and relaxing about all of your work.
ReplyDeleteI think it might be because I am relaxed when I paint. This is another one that I started after 9PM. That is when Alex goes upstairs to text her friends and settles in for the night. So the house is quiet and it is just me and my paints, brushes and subject. It has become my little romance...my secret nightly rendezvous! …and please, fly down and visit any time you want! I would love it!
